Time for dealer repairs?

You read posts all the time where the dealers have a bike for 1 or 2 months while repairing, and we all seem to look at it as "to bad", ya missed the summer riding season. :'(

If this happened with our cars, it wouldn't be acceptable at all, not that it is acceptable with your bike either, but with a bike we all seem to be more forgiving. Why is a bike any different than a car. For a lot of us, it is our major means of transportation. :-/

The question is why do we put up with this dealer BS and as a riding public, what can we do about it? ???
