There was a professional photographer situated near the top and he snapped a pic of EVERY bike that came up the mountain. I went to his website and found the day and time slot I was riding up and fortunately, the guy in front of me was wearing a red jacket, so I scanned the thumbnails and found myself. Needless to say that I liked the pic and ordered an 8X10. Since I am always by myself I haven't been able to take my own pic of me on my Nomad. It cost me $22 and another $4 or $5 for shipping, but the photo will be high resolution and should be much better quality than shows on the internet. lol...no shooting necessary!! Sucks getting older...lol...Judi (VV) was snickering at me trying to use my new phone last night... I was either holding it FAR away or pushing my glasses down my nose to look above them!!
I personally know 3 of the westerners coming home today...Nico BD and TomK....already in Barstow by now! |
