Newbie on the loose.............

......................but I see some familiar faces from the VR forum. In the process of completing a sale of my Boulevard on ebay and will be getting the bike I've dreamed of - the Nomad. Look forward to learning from all the veterans here and helping others as I gain knowledge.

Yeah but the big ??????? 1500 vs 1600 what are the differences if any in frame size. I'm 6'1" and need my space. Any difference. Tried a search and didn't come up with any discussions, but I'm sure it's been hashed out before.

Not sure if there is any difference in frame size between 1500/1600. I only know that with a set if risers and highway pegs even the tall guys can get pretty comfortable...or so I hear. I'm only 5'10" but I have plenty of room to stretch.

Misunderstood
First , Welcome to Kawanow. Great web site and lots of information. I see that you live in Knoxville, not too far away.
By the way, a local dealer has a 2006 Nomad for sale, $9800. I saw it a few days ago and it's green/silver and sharp.
Hope this link works

Dealer is in Madison a few miles out of Nashville

Ride safe

Welcome. I don't know squat about the Nomad, but as a newbie I have done a little reading and the few things that I keep hearing is that the Nomad has the most comfortable OEM seat of all the cruisers. I have had and ridden several different cruisers and I am convinced that the Nomad is the best hands down. It is the most comfortable and easily the best value; no, you can't go wrong with a Nomad. Black is the fastest color though.
