Smart Sparrow
Smart sparrow lived in New England.
He decided one fall that flying south was silly so he stayed in Maine. As the weather got cold he figured maybe he wasn't so smart after all. He started flying south but the air was too cold so his wings froze and he fell into a barnyard. Just then a cow walked over him and dropped a hot pile on top of him. He thought how appropriate. I'm freezing to death and now a cow's going to smother me. Only he didn't smother. In fact he began to warm up and thaw out. This made him so happy that he began to sing at the top of his voice. The barnyard cat happened to be nearby and heard the strange sound coming from the cow manure. He gingerly pawed the manure out of the way, saw the singing sparrow and ATE HIM!! This story has 3 morals: 1. Not everyone who sh#ts on you is your enemy. 2. Not everyone who gets you out of the sh#t is your friend. but MOST IMPORTANT!!! 3. If you're warm and happy in a pile of sh#t KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!!! |
