Going with the Solo Look

Hey guys - awhile back on one of the treads, I saw some pictures of a nomad that had gone to the solo look. I can't remember the thread and I am hoping that you guys could post some pics of the nomad set up in this configuration. I am thinking of going this route but just wanted to see it again. The one I am thinking of has saddlebag rails and I think it had a rear fender rail too. Sure would cut down on my friends bumming rides. Thinking of adding a fairing too.....
Thanks

I've seen several variations of this theme. Wanderer has a tour pack on his and Spirello has a really nice pic of his black nomad set up solo if you PM him he could probably send you a pic

That is a sweet ride!

Reminds me of my old hot rod days. You start off with the fastest available production model (black); add things to make it much, much faster (chrome) and remove anything that may impede your speed (passengers).

Thanks for the help guys! I am really leaning towards that look with a fairing. I think it makes an already unique bike even more unique - always keep em guessing!

Hey nomadman - did all of the mounting holes line up on that solo rack from the 1500?

No, honoustly the fittings are very different between a 1500 and a 1600. I use strong double adhesive tape to mount the 1500 rack on my Nomad and cover the mounting holes with high polish alu tape
In my case the rack only have a decoration function!

Greetz Nomadman!
