Going Solo

I'm in the process of converting my 06 1600 Nomad from 2-up to solo. I know there is a chrome rack that fits the rear fender (made by Suzuki I think). I also need a lay down license plate bracket. Have searched the forums for this info, but to no avail. If your looking for something you'll never find it! If any one could help I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
Rick

I feel your pain Rick.I went solo and installed a Mustang seat with a back rest.I have been looking for a fender rack and like you I could not find anything I liked.I guess I will go with Mustang fender bib as they are much cheaper than a rack and you can find them anywhere.Good luck with your search.

I'm interested in going this way too. Just a solo seat and a fender luggage rack, or something similar. My suzuki is set up this way.

custom world rear fender cover. it was for a Yamaha 1700

I didn't put a laid down license frame (Kuryakyn), because I lock the helmet on top of it

I went with the fender bib, and modified my existing licence braket to a lay down style by removing the chrome and drilling three holes in the plastic. Good luck, it really changes the style of the bike.

The bikes with the rack on the fender look really sharp. I may go that way in the future.

If my wife didn't enjoying motorcycling, I would be riding this way in a heart beat! I think the Nomad looks much better without the sissybar.
