Big air kit

I have had the vance and hines baggers with the power commander most of the season and really like the way my bike performs even tho I am running the stock air cleaner. My question is to those of you that have been where I am at and then added an air kit is. What difference did you notice and was it worth it?

Big air kit

I have the V&H baggers as well. I had back firing and hesitation, so I did the caddmann air intake kit, (much cheaper), on both sides, (basically for looks), and it eliminated the backfiring, increased my HP and torque.

I had the Cobra Fi2000r, but ended up, just turning it off and my bike runs better without it. With the open air intake and the removed baffles on my V&H, runs great and really sounds sweet.

Good luck.

As you know, the V+H baggers will allow the engine to exhale more exhaust than the stock mufflers, and the power commander allows you to add or take away fuel to properly match the air being taken in. To take best advantage of these mods, the engine needs to have the ability to take in more air. You will be pleasantly surprised at the extra performance you will get by adding a BAK, or as Doc has done, a caddman kit. Your fuel economy may go down (sometimes caused by the extra wrist action ) but some have reported better mileage. I have V+H. Thunder Air kit, and PC111 and I get around 40mpg.(Imp. Gal). But if you are happy with the way it runs now, thats good too! :)
