Vista cruise control ?

Hi Jeff, Welcome to the board. You might find some help here:

http://kawanow.proboards77.com/index...ay&thread=3750

note that there are cruise controls and there are throttle locks. I got the Vista Cruise, which is a lock, and am very pleased with it.

Vista cruise control ?

After the ride to the rally, I don't care what brand it is as long as I can let go for a few minutes!

I have the Vista Cruise, and I don't care for the looks of it, but I wouldn't get rid of it for anything. Well, almost anything...maybe a Brakeaway, when I win the Powerball.

I have one in the garage but didn't have the time to mount it to the bike before the ride to the rally...sure wish I had gotten it one before I left.

Vista Cruise, throttle lock. Simple, cheap, effective. I love mine.

Vista cruise control ?

I have had a Vista Cruise throttle lock on two bikes and though I live in country with undulating highways I none-the-less find mine up to the task. I am not familiar with the other ones available, but mine allows me to adjust the throttle as I go up and down hills, but yet will hold the throttle so I can relax my grip and remove my hand from the throttle. Furthermore, if I encountered an emergency I can shut the throttle without having to remember to disable the locking device. I also have a Crampbuster mounted and that also helps to ease the cramping and numbing. I would not want a throttle lock that completely locks the throttle in place. Ultimately though, an electronic cruise control is the real answer and you can find all the information on Gadget's fix-it page on the install. The Kuryakyn Throttle Boss I find totally useless functionally, but it sure looks nice.

Vista cruise control ?

Hi Gang,
I am a hairs breath from deciding on the Vulcan Nomad, 2008 model. This forum has helped me to make that decision and I thank you all for that.

One thing that had me upset was the apparent inability to install a genuine cruise control. From this post, it seems that is possible after all...but...Where is the "gadget shop" posting that rainchef talked about? Can anyone help me with that?

Anybody using Vista with ISO grips?

If so, what's the install trick?

Unwind2 has the Motorcycle Cruise Control on her Nomad. It works just like the one on your car. They are made in Austrailia. You'll just have to decide if you want to put that much money into one. From what I remember her saying at the rally, she loves it.
