Vista Cruise

Hi, I went for a 500 mile ride yesterday and 2 things were apparent. I need a better seat and a throttle lock (cruise control).

My throttle hand kept cramping and the ends of my fingers kept going numb.

I seem to remember reading good reviews about the Vista Cruise and some suggested buying the "universal" model which I think is adaptable to the 1" Nomad bars. Does anyone have the part number and a review of this product.

The seats are going to Daylong to solve the other issue.

I don't have a part number but you do want the 1". I have one and wouldn't be without one on a long or short ride.

Yes, but it's generally accepted that you have to slightly enlarge the ring that you have to slide over the grip with a Dremel tool or similar.

Some desire a true cruise control. Vista Lock isn't that. However, I find I don't want to leave my hands off my throttle but for short shoulder and arm rest periodically. Vista locks with your throttle thump. It locks your throttle, but allows you to adjust it with a gentle twist. However, it doesn't release when your brakes are applied, as a cruise control would, nor does it adjust your speed up or down inclines. So it works best on a flat run, but, and, they are so ugly, they're cool too. Sumth'n like $30 at JC Whitney's .... whata ya cares? Try it.

Redjay, I installed my new Vista Cruise yesterday and used it today. Simple to install, easy to use. Just enough of a break to keep the throttle hand fresh.

Cad made a small bracket, and I think he has pics of that some where on line. I couldn't remember what i watched him make, because I have bad CRS, so made my own bracket from a 2 hole section of plumbers tape. I had to modify the allen bolt some to be thin as well. No other mods were made and no holes were drilled.

As shown this Vista Cruise in in the LOCKED possition, because other wise you wouldn't see it at all...
