Motorcycle Cruiser magazine
Finally, a review of the new C109R. I have been waiting since early winter for them to hit the showrooms and then for a magazine review. The road test was impressive and quite favorable. Beginning to sound like Suzuki put together a super plus sized motorcycle. The M109 was very impressive with the GSXR derived engine and for the most part the C109R carries that with it. MC called it the most powerful cruiser bike today. There was also a comparison test of the 1500-1700 cruiser class(HD Fat Bob, Victory Kingpin 8-Ball, Suzuki C90, Road Star, Kawasaki 1600 Classic) and one of entry-level 650's(V-Star 650, Hyosung Avatar, & Suzuki S40)

I read the article as well. It's a tempting bike, but it still only has the leather saddlebag, windshield, backrest, now It's a tourer combo. Till somebody puts out a genuine v-twin hard bagger, or they put the 2000 mill in the Nomad. I'll stick with my '03. I don't think any of the bike companies realize how big the market is for something that competes with HD's Kings and Electra's. Everyone is still working on their custom chopper look as evidence by the fact Star's newest scoot is the Raider.
