I thought I read or heard that it takes, at least, two "full" oil changes before switching to syn.

BD, did I hear (read) that from you? What are your thoughts?

From what I understand it's not nearly as important to wait as it used to be.... I believe it was BD that was telling us that seals and all are ready from the factory engine break-in now.... but let's wait o hear from the guru BD!

If it was me i would wait to the 2k mark then go fully synthetic but your ride up to you :-)

Thanks Nico, I know I have also read that tidbit as well on some webpage... I guess all Kawanow'rs will have to wait till the mighty BD<blockquote></blockquote> graces us with his wisdom and knowledge...

NO !!!! car yes. Motorcycle no our engine oil mixes with our transmision. let the beast break in at least 2k. thats the easy part. the hard part is what oil you plan on using . ???

I used Rotella Synthetic with my C50 but this one will get Mobil 1.

Yea I like Mobil 1 . but I'm a big Ams-oil fan I use the stuff on all my toys. the cars get the cheap stuff.
