Rain Gear

Ok I'm looking for rain gear around $50.00, because I know that if I buy it I wont get rained on but if I don't, it will rain every day. All suggestions will ensure it won't rain in Maggie Valley!

A lot of people on here swear by Frog Togs.
I'm not one of them.
But they are around $50

I use the Aerostich Roadcrafter armored and waterproof riding suit. It costs a little more than $50 however. My wife has the Frogg Toggs Road Toad suit.

I just recently purchased the Frogg Toggs Road Toad and the price before tax was $49.98. Great rain gear. This is the second set I have purchased. Keeps you dry and also doesn't make you feel too hot.

Frog Toggs I have had them for many years and here in the south you want something that will let air pass through because around here it may rain at any time and with the frog Toggs you don't have to take them off if it quits raining foe a little bit and then starts up again.

Bass Pro or Cabelas usually carry them as well as a lot of bike shops.
Id probably recomend something like Yellowjacket wears, that has some armour built into it.

My wife bought Frog Toggs and swears by them. Only problem so far is the right leg apparently blossomed out and melted on a hot pipe. Not to worry though, they make heat proof patches to apply to your pants leg to combat such calamities. Got a kit and its all good now.

I and my wife have had two sets of frog togs. The old style and the new. For us they worked as good as a tee shirt and genes. We are debating what to get for the trip this year.

At my local shop they carry Joe Rocket, they are $70.00 for the set. They look like pretty good quality.

Well I bought some cheap stuff from Leatherup. Paid around $25. It only rains about 3 days a year here so............I'm relatively sure that if I'm riding in the rain, I'll get wet no matter what I'm wearing.
