nomad shift lever

i don't like the heel shifter on my '07 nomad so i took it off. but i have small feet and the stock toe shifter is too long for me. anybody know if another shorter kaw shiftlever will bolt onto my nomad's splined shift shaft, without any cutting/welding? thnx

I'm not certain, but probably Kawasaki uses the same size shaft and splines for all their cruisers, so I would suggest comparing different toe shifters from different sized bikes. (900, 800, 1600, etc.)
The Nomad is the first bike I ever had with a heel-toe shifter and I didn't like the heel shifter to start with, now I love it. I have the toe shifter adjusted down so low that my toe won't fit under it, I only use it to down shift with, and heel shift when I up-shift.

I agree with Cliff. When I first picked up my Nomad I really didn't care for the heel- toe shifter but after a bit of use I can up shift easier than with the toe shifter. If your not totally against it give it a try for a while and it becomes second nature.

I agree with Cliff and Hank.
Put the damn thing back on and give it a try.
