Yeah, I know it's not motorcycle related, but it's damn near as important!

I respectfully request such topics be discussed on the "Off Nomad / General Topics" page. This is why I choose to not visit that page.

No offense intended. Thank you.

This site got a lot less friendly when politics started being discussed a couple of years ago.

I'd hate to see all the political talk start flowing onto this forum too.

I think keeping it in the debate board one forum below this one should be a hard and fast rule. Isn't one board almost entirely devoted to politics enough?

I don't have moderator privileges in this area, but I have emailed Trip and Jeff and asked that it be moved to off-topic.

I agree that these political threads should be kept in the off Nomad topic section.

A week ago, we could have given him negative karma for this.

I want my karma back, karma back, karma back....

I visit Kawanow for Nomad-related discussions, not politics. As Dan said, "This site got a lot less friendly when politics started being discussed a couple of years ago." Mea culpa - I was a big part of that, and prefer to not go down that road again. You know where I stand on such issues.

I was trying to be respectful. Give it a try.

Hey Mike, I signed the petition and emailed the link to a ton of friends.

Thanks for posting.

This has been moved to the Off Nomad/Motorcycle board, in case no one has noticed.

I truly believe that we are all friends here and that we shouldn't allow ourselves to get separated by our political differences.

We are better than that, I hope.

I am not pointing my finger at anyone, just making a statement.

Sorry Dan. Things looked like they were getting a little hostile and I tried a bit of levity. Guess it did not come across that way.
