Tech Question re: mounting a powerlet and XM radio
I am in a quandry. I'm wanting to mount my XM radio on the handlebars, but not sure how to go about it. On the 1700 Nomad, the front brake fluid reservoir is not a standard size, so the mount I had on my Gold Wing won't work. Also, where have any of you mounted a powerlet on the bars? I'm so used to riding a bike with lots of plastic fairing that I find myself newly challenged. Ram ball mounts maybe? I'm open to any suggestions. Thanx in advance.

I mounted a standard power recepticle on a windshield bolt. Works great and doesn't take up any handlebar space.

Wow! That's a spendy little item there. But it does look good. I've done some investigating and developed some ideas that might work. Thanx, guys.
