Woot - Getting Tsukayu 6.5" Fairing

Just ordered it today. With the 5" light tint windscreen and the 6.5" punch speakers. Pretty excited. Pictures when I get them.

Welcome to the Nomad fairing brigade. I think you'll really like it.

I won't be ordering mine for awhile. I'll be watching to see how your installation goes.

Hey DH, congrats on the Fairing and its a very easy install if your bike is plain Jane. If you have a light bar and risers then there's a little "tweaking" that has to be done. Don't know if you have either but if you do and you want to hear what I did to deal with having both just give me a call 904-476-1108

Like CJ...I have the CWI lights that are mounted via the windshield bolts. I'm wondering if it is even possible to mount a fairing using those lights?

My front end is pretty plain jane. I have a 12 volt and a mountain bike cup holder attached to the windshield, but the fairing is coming with a 12 volt, so just the cup holder needs to be moved. Not sure where yet, but I will figure something out. I figure if I need lights I would add them later so I know what I have to deal with before hand. I am pretty excited. I should have it one by the end of the month.

Ross, thanks for the offers of help. I shouldn't need it, but if I do I will cull your expertise. Gotta love KawaNOW!

Hey Ponch, got the fairing right after custer. That's why I was studying Watchman's fairing so hard when I was there.

Several of the poster's mention the CWI light brackets that attach at the windshield bolts. I am pretty sure that is what watchman had. He had installed HD batwings on his and his wifes nomad. If the work with those then they should be ok with the Tsukayu because the dimensions almost identical.

I'm thinking about ordering the tsukayu fairing as well....I have 2 inch straight risers and the CWI billet lights.....Ross may give you a call to see what you had to deal with on the risers and lights....otherwise watching to see how other installs go. Does anyone have any pictures of the fairing or the HD fairing witht he CWI billet mount lights? How about Watchman?

I've got the CWlignts and managed to fit the fairing. Slight modification to do on the fairing mount but nothing that can"t be done with hand tools

When looking for a fairing, something I was fussy about, was the way it was fitting around the headlight. some of them have quite a gap around the bucket

I found out yesterday that my fairing already shipped. It shipped from Hong Kong and today departed from Cinncinnati headed for me. I very well may have it by the end of the week. Sweet!!!!!!

The bike is not at my place right now, so I had to use old pics and do a little bit of drawing to show what i did.

the fairing I have is a Radio Caddy from the trike shop
http://www.trikeshop.com/shop/catego...=desc&l=15&p=2

the mounting kit is for a nomad up to 2003 but I modified to fit my 08
