A little too far away for me, but thanks for the invitation.

I was stationed near Memphis 30 years ago and traveled a lot around the surrounding area, but never made it to Sardis. That's a beautiful area.

Jim, hope you and Bea have a very Merry Christmas. My wife really likes your Christmas village.
We have plans for Sunday, this is the childrens program at church. I am the only, old, fat man with a white beard in the whole place. I can wear the Santa suit and it fits! Besides there is not much I wouldn't do for the kids. Have a Merry Christmas, hope to see you all soon.

That is pretty cool Oldbiker.

As you would expect from many of us... we simply live too far away to drop by... but it is the thought that we were invited that is worth the most.

For that... thank you.

I saw the village in person a few weeks ago. It is way more impressive up close and personal than what the pictures convey. Wish I could make it Jim and Bea but I will more than likely be in the woods sitting in a deer stand. Thanks for the invite.
