If you could undo a mod

Saw this on a Vic forum.

Is there a mod that you wished you would NOT have done?

I like all my mods, I just wish I would have done them in another order.

I had been cramming everything under the left side cover--creating a rat's nest and having to move out my tools (Thanks to Doc and his excellent TFI placement suggestion).

When I did the air mod, the now nonfunctional stock left-side backing plate offers an expanse of open area that easily accepts attachments: like an auxilliary fuse box, comm wiring, etc.

If I had done that air mod earlier, very little, if anythng, would have gone under the left cover.

I would undo the big scratch I put on my right side saddlebag door when I opened it and hit the lawnmower :(" title="" border="0"/>
Or isn't that considered a mod ???

I would not have attempted to thake the yellow stickers off the bags. I royally f'd up my paint. Fortunately I am planning on bag rails so that should help to hide it. I may get saddlebag chaps too I don;t know

I may have gotten a Russell Seat instead of a Mustang. Or maybe one of the other brands.
Not that I don't like the Mustang, but I would have tried something different.

I haven't done anything to my present Nomad, but on my first one I wouldn't have gone to the bother and expense of doing the Thunder intake, and Vance & Hines pipes.

I spent a lot of money, made a lot of noise, and only slowly pulled ahead of a completely stock bike.

I undid the air balance kit on the shocks, it leaked air.
If anyone wants it, they can have it for the $5 shipping.

No, I don't have a lawnmower. I think BD is referring to scraping one of my new pipes on the driveway curb the other day.
