I'm very skeptical when it comes to eBay.I never buy anything that costs more than I can afford to lose. Probably not an issue but the seller has been a member for almost 2 years,bought 4 items and hasn't sold anything.Other items for sale are a HD seat and a Yamaha Venture at a very low starting bid.
Is it "too good to be true" ?

In his defense, the bike he started at a low price is just that, a starting bid. He has set a reserve price and if it dosen't get that high he does not have to sell it. Many people start low and set a reserve to get bidding started on their item.
Some people just don't do alot of stuff on Ebay. You can tell he dosen't as he uses no color or different size fonts to enhance his add. He is also not real clear on what is included.
I do a lot of buying and selling on there and would not be afraid to bid on this. I only got screwed one time and it was very little money. I got it back through the paypal process.
One last thing, most buyers on Ebay wait till the last min. or so to bid. That way they avoid getting into a bidding war and paying more than they want to pay.

This guy is probably Ok but I have seen stories about people buying things on eBay and when it come time to pick them up the money and the seller are gone.
All I was saying "buyer beware".

I've made about 25 purchases on Ebay and all but 1 were good experiences. The one not so good experience was more my fault on not being an experienced ebayer. There were 3 stainless steel gumbo pots listed for $19.99. The shipping price was not listed. I bid $25 and won for $19.99. No one else bid on the pots. Well, the shipping wound up being over $30 for one box with the 3 different sized post stacked into eachother. The pots were very thin and the box didn't weigh over 8 pounds. I checked with our local UPS on what the shipping for the item should have been and was told $9. I wasn't happy with the seller especially when I saw the same pots at a local retailer for $23.99.
