If you look around you can find a good deal.I looked for about 8 months until I found one at a swap meet for $500.00
Prodution trailers are expensive but a few of the guys around here have made thier own trailers and they seem very happy with them.

Mine was $1,200 total including shipping. He auctions a couple every day on ebay. I've seen a couple like mine go for less than $1,000. They are nice trailers and pull well. I'm happy with mine.

I have a HF and a camper. The HF works great and cost me about $250 to build. The camper is a Bunkhouse that is a '97 and it cost $2200. Love 'em both.

Check this out. I got the Piggy Backer XL Trailer. $895.00, torsion suspension, 12" chrome wheels, spare, led lights, 14 cubic ft. cap., and 170lbs. They also have one for $695.00, same size with 8" wheels and leaspring suspension. It is great. I would buy it again if I needed one. There are other guys on here that own tone. It performs perfect. I've had it fully loaded, two up in the mountains and on the interstate. www.piggybacker.com 1-800-448-4841

I would like to have a trailer for vacations, etc. Don't know if I will ever own one though.

I ordered one of these...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

They are close to home and I went to look at and they looked well-made. A friend of mine went to look and ended up going to work for them. They have more than they can handle right now to build.

Hey Mitch, this looks like your trailer. Is it the same one?

I searched long and hard to find a trailer for a reasonable price. Let's face it, why spend thousands of dollars when you only use it a few times a year.

That being said I have one for sale. It's a Piggy Backer XL less than a year old that I used twice. Looks new and works great on the Nomad. Riding down the highway you find yourself checking your rear view mirror to make sure it's still there. No effort pulling it, even when she's loaded.

[size=100:hvarhit4]SOLD..SOLD..SOLD..SOLD..SOLD..SOLD..SOLD..SOLD..[/size:hvarhit4] :) :) :)

Ride safe.. Joe

CJ,

I think Mitch's came from South Carolina. This one I listed is built in Vinita, Oklahoma. I picked it up yesterday and it is a well made one. I will try to get some pictures posted. I did have her modify from her original design slightly. I like to have separate turns from my brakes and I do not use an isolater.

Scott, It is the same design as mine except I have the black powder coated sides and back while this one is all diamond plate. The guy I bought mine from auctions these also. It is a good trailer and pulls well. You will be happy with it Mark. I suggest you put a good coat of wax on it right away. The finish on the diamond plate dulls very quickly if you don't. I shopped around for a while before purchasing mine. I seem to remember a dealer in Oklahoma but their prices were much higher. Doesn't look like the same dealer though. The one I'm speaking of had a store and was asking $1,450 for the 4' trailers like mine and a couple of hundred more for the all diamond plate models like yours.

Here are some pictures of mine. It is a different manufacturer from the one Mitch bought. They build them and sell them for about $1050 and sometimes people buy them and resell. So I kinda went to the factory and picked mine up. They will build what you want. They do powdercoat sides and back as well. I preferred the diamond plate/ Also I asked her to put the extra light bar on for turn signals which varied from her original design. I may change later but need a place to hang extra lights.
