Need help determining the trailer hitch mount for my Vulcan Nomad 1600. Is anyone familiar with the Piggyback brand of trailer?

I don't have a trailer but I know a lot of people here use the chuckster hitch. He's a terrific guy to work with and makes excellent products at a reasonable price. I have his 7" air intake mod and Reed valve coasters. He's also a Nomad rider and forum member.

Piggy backer is a good trailer. Chuckster's hitch is the real deal. I have one on my 1500.

I purchased a Piggybacker in 2009 and sadly had to sell it later in the year. It was the model with smaller tires and leaf spring suspension. The other model is with larger tires and torsion bar suspension. I sought opinions from owners of both models and got nothing but rave reviews from all owners.

It pulled easily with my 1600 Nomad. The trailer was loaded with camping gear and gave zero problems. My son-in-law packed it with stuff for a beach vacation last summer and I followed it at 70+ mph down the highway. His tow vehicle was a Chrysler Aspen SUV. Absolutely no swaying at all!

I picked it up assembled in SC. It came with chrome wheels, extra bearings, wiring harness, chrome bumper and cooler rack.

For a trailer hitch I used the same guy that Eureka Boy used. His info is on the main Kawanow website under "Personal Nomad Website Links." It was a little pricey but the quality is excellent. The guy's name is Gilbert Courtemanche out of Canada. His email is gcourtem@shaw.ca.

I just installed trailer hitch made by chuckster131, he is a member of this forum. Very quality work & insatllment was very easy. The hitch fit perfect.
