If I remember right, Kawasaki listed the 2008 Nomad at 35 mpg on their website. I don't think I ever got better than that stock. I rarely get that with TFI, Intake and exhaust mods.
Kind of interesting that the 05-06 show better mileage than the 07-08.

I get 37 mpg om my 2000 nomad. I did get 47 mpg one time and that was when I was going down hill on the blue ridge parkway.

There has been some times that I got 48 on my '05 Nomad...just depends on speed, if bike is loaded, wind etc. ...

It is what it is... I used to use the ole gas mileage justification to the wife, but after the Subaru beat the Nomad, I abandoned the mileage strategy and said..."sure honey, I'll buy you a bigger passenger pad".

My '03 gets 45 all the time. I have had up to 53 on a trip while loaded. I only looked quickly, but didn't see '02-'04 on that list. I ride with a guy on a '00 he gets the same as me. I have had great gas mileage on my Nomad. No complaints.

Honestly, i don't care about MPG. The range is more important for me.
