Cobra processor question
I'm looking for a tuning short cut. I'm going to install a Chucksters single plate intake and coasters. I have debaffled stock pipes. What settings do I set the cobra fuel processor to for this combo?

Cobra processor question
I would start with the factory setting and fine tune from there. Mine was set at 3-5-0 which is factory setting for my 2008 1600. I am now at 3-4.5-0.

Cobra processor question
No, I only did the debaffle and installed the Cobra FI2000R. The settings will still be close. Just start with the factory setting for your bike. The first pot is mostly for idle speed. Second pot is the one that is going to give you the power. I wouldn't deviate more than .5 on the first or second pots. I moved the second pot back to about 4.5 to try and get better gas mileage. It doesn't get as good as before I installed the Cobra. I know after installing the bike runs some richer. Therefore the loss of MPG's.

Cobra processor question
Each bike is a little different.
My setup is similar to yours, 07 debaffled pipes and Hypercharger. After playing with the Cobra for awhile I settled on 2.5, 4, 0. And have been running this setting for about a year. No ping at any time with this setting. On my bike I have to set the idle to about 1600 before pot 1 kicks in to adjust it. The Cobra instruction's say "pot 1 kicks in at or above idle depending on the bike". After setting up the Cobra I now keep my idle adjusted about 1050 to 1100, any lower and I still get an occasional hick up went I drop the throttle fast. I can run regular grade gas with no ping but I normally run mid to high test depending on where I plan to ride as on Maui I can go from sea level to 10,000 feet in two hours and our FI systems are just not made to adapt to elevation changes very well. With no Oxy sensor and just an air pressure sensor the system does not equalize well to rapid elevation changes so I run high test when I know I'm going to up in elevation. Cobra processor question
Thanks for sharing that Bubba. I don't know if you have seen an ad for the new Cobra or not. They have one now that you don't make adjustments on. It does all the adjusting for you and you ride. I will check the magazine I saw it in and do a post. Of course it is expensive.
