Looking for Memphis Bracket

A guy I work with (leos) has a 2006 Nomad, He already has a Memphis Shade batwing, we went on Memphis website and it does not list a bracket or faring for the 1600, it shows them for the 1500 and the 1700. does anybody here sell brackets for the 1600 to fit the memphis farings?

Ah, the 1600 curse. The asterisk in the parts book (* does not fit 1600).

I'm sure someone has a solution, but you won't find one ready made. Why buy a fairing if you don't have a way to mount it?

The faring was off another bike he had, but low and behold, he called memphis shade and they told him they do have one for the 1600 but did not have it listed. So maybe I got on here to soon till we did our homework a lot better. But maybe someone does have something better than $139.00

I have a memphis shades fairining on my 1600 nomad.The part number for the quick relase mounts is 2321-0170 direct from the website

Yes you are correct nomadrider, that was right part number, he has one on order now. I am looking at getting me one also for my 1500 but wanted to test drive his first.

Did you have to remove your lowers to install the memphis faring, or did you just take windsheild off and then install the bracket peices in them same holes.

I had to remove the lowers brackets then mount the memphis shades bracket mounts directly to the forks.I then took longer bolts and mounted the lowers brackets outside the memphis shades mounts.I have some pictures I can email you showing how I did it.

Got it, you are correct again. He is going to mount his lowers that way. Kinda disapoints me that they would design it like that where you would have to find another way to mount the lowers.
