Did you ride this weekend?

The weather broke a little for us down where. I should have ridden Friday...sunny + 45. But the forecast was more of the same for Saturday so I held off so I could avoid traffic and have a buddy join me...big mistake. Woke up to fog that never lifted....stayed cold, around 35 but we still rode but stayed in the lower levels to avoid slippery surprises.

This put us on freeways with traffic....that sucked. But at least I got the Nad out for about 60 miles...enough to get all the parts moving and lubed.

When you haven't ridden for awhile (about 7 weeks) it is like learning all over again!

When I got off the Nad I think I heard her whisper "Thank You".

I strapped on the gear for a quick ride Friday (had the day off), but it was short lived as it was freaking COLD out! I rode up to have breakfast...then did a short loop and was home after about 40 minutes. It did feel good to get her out....even for a short hop...

we had brutal wind here all weekend so it was a no go for me.
50 to 60 m.p.h. with gust to 70. think spring !

Spent the weekend finishing off the bathroom remodel. Zero miles but now have lots of smiles from Miss Nancy. Just got to settle onthe tile for the kitchen and I can get that over with.

Mondays are my weekend, so the church administrator and I were able to get out today and take a run to Roseburg and back (about a 200 mile loop). It was a beautiful day on the coast, warm and sunny, but was I surprised by how cold it got just outside of Roseburg. I'm glad that I packed a hoodie and some gauntlet gloves. But I'm not complaining, at least I was able to take Scarlet out and exceed the speed limit!

Glad you got out Rich. I see it is supposed to be 65 and sunny in Coos Bay today....enjoy!

You know I like your solar system/galaxy pics....but your old pics were better!

I think I'm ridin' this weekend....!!! I have to go to a wedding Saturday....but Sunday and Monday (MLK Day...I have it off) look to be sunny and a high of 50-52...

. That's in the comfort zone...

! Anyone wanna join me?

I will be riding a little too, assuming the fog lifts. But I don't have a big enough block of time this weekend to ride far enough north to have the miles make sense for you. Ride safe!

Got in about 150 miles today. I was all over the place and did all kinds of stuff. Freeway...backroads....twisties....wet roads, dry roads....I even got a little too high in elevation and had to turn around when the road turned frosty

. It felt great to get out and about for awhile. The sun was shining and it was a gorgeous day...

That is great Kris. I wanted to do the same thing but it got real windy....gusts up to 50mph....so I watched football and ate all weekend!

I finally got out! No wind, no snow, no rain. Sunshine and mid 40's.

Didn't go far (about 75 miles) but had a blast just getting lost on back country roads. No traffic, I doubt I went over 55mph. Just a lazy kick back and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air type of ride.
