1700 Vulcan Rear Suspension Lowering Link

Lately I've been getting several emails and private messages asking if we're still making our lowering links. The answer is a resounding YES! We are still the only comfortable and affordable option if you want to lower the seat height on a Kawasaki 1700. After getting our instruction sheet detailed down to a step by step operation (over a year ago) we've had ZERO complaints and have had a grand total of ZERO failures (since day one). They are still $139 and $10 shipping anywhere in the US, $20 shipping to Canada. If anyone has any further questions please call us at 507-283-1800. We also sell them on Ebay if you'd rather go that route.
Thank you
For all the guys that have bought them so far a special thank you!

Ride safe.

Installed them on a buddy's Vaquero. He loves them and I installed in just over an hour and a half. I was taking my time and triple checking things for safety. Great instructions.

Are there any changes in the ride after making this mod? Any additional mods you have to make for the lowering link to work properly?

I believe it mounts right up to the Vaquero, but a Voyager requires some cutting and welding to be done to the bag supports so that the new angle of the shocks doesn't cause them to hit those supports (and that looks like a Voyager in your avatar?)

Those who have bought the lowering link like them, you can search the forum using the phrase "lowering link" to find other posts about them.

Oh and welcome to the forum... First post after a year means you've lurked a while? Fix yourself a sig line so we know about your bike, and introduce yourself in the right place so we know a little about you.

What Peg said. If you have a Vaquero, they are just a bolt on mod with no other issues. A Voyager takes a little mod work, but not drastic from what I have heard.

Peg and Talon have answered your questions as well as I would have. The only thing I would add, we've never had a Voyager or Nomad owner regret doing the little bit of modification to the bag supports to get the lower stance. I had one customer actually tell me if I offered him triple his money back and paid for the support modification he wouldn't let me have them back.
And again, if you have a Vaquero they are a simple bolt on. No cutting, no welding, no painting, no trips to the hardware store.
Thanks
Rick

I suggest you email them and ask for instructions as it will clear things up.

I've had mine for about a year and they do make a difference. With a 29" inseam, every little bit counts. Between the lowering links and a good set of riding boots, the height of the bike is no longer a problem. I did the install myself and had questions. Rick spend all the time I needed on the phone to to make sure they were all answered. You can't go wrong. The only bad part is the down time to send the saddlebag brackets out to him to get modified for the change in shock angle.
