If you ever t-bone a deer like I have you'll be glad you have mag wheels. Spokes can collapse and dump you badly. Mags usually won't.

My Cobra 04-0442 lightbar mounts with two bolts on each side, nothing underneath where the original turn signal bar mounted. The side bolts go into the windshield mounts. I wasn't happy with the fit,...

I've got over 40K miiles on my 2007 with no slippage. But I do hardly any in-town driving. Not much stop and go.

Hey guys, everything I read on here talks about welding the pipe back together.

I can't tell you how many exhaust pipes on cars I have simply brazed together and never had any further problem.

I'll probably get shot for it but if you are interested in something with "Road" in the title, check out a Yamaha Road Star Silverado. From just sitting on bikes in the showroom the ergonomics on it...

I don't carry a tow strap now but I think I'll get one!

This is just plain cool. I used a strap like this once to help pull a calf having trouble being born but never to rescue one!

I get the same thing once in a while. I too have the cobra fi2000r but I have the caddman mod. I probably need to clean the throttle body as well. It doesn't happen very often, maybe once a month so...

I used a coping saw to cut a pair out of lexan. It takes longer but works great. I then got a pair of Chucksters and had to modify them a little to fit with the Cobra light bar. Coping saw to the...

My bike had a weeble-wobble when it would get a puff of a cross-wind. No pulling though. It fixed itself one day when it felt like someone hit one of the triple trees with a big hammer.

I think...

Where to find Leather Jacket.

I got my leathers at ebikerleather.com. Good prices. Decent quality. They *are* from Pakistan, I don't know if it's goatskin or cowhide -- don't much care either. The coat is a Pistol-Pete and comes...

NEVERMIND 68,000 miles/ first problem

Your charging system may be bad and let the battery run down. Or the battery may have just gone bad. The Nomad doesn't have a permanent magnet in its alternator, it requires an external battery to...

Oil in the wind.....

Had an old 351M in a Ford pickup that did the same thing. It had leaky piston rings raising the pressure in the oil reservoir causing a lot of oil to be pushed out. I have the Caddman mods on my air...

Extra Gas - How??

The rotopax appear to be of the same kind of construction my old gas tank had. From a strength viewpoint they might be ok. My concern would be whether they are vented or not. As LoneWolf said,...

Extra Gas - How??

I used to race enduros with a plastic tank on my Penton dirt bike. It was a heavy duty plastic that was flexible under pressure much like a bladder. I know from experience having dumped it in...

WOW!!! I don't think I could do this if I practiced all day, everyday for a year. This guy has some outstanding hand-eye coordination.

Extra Gas - How??

I don't know if Mac thinks carrying fuel in a plastic container is a bad idea but *I* do. Fuel should either be in a hard container (like a spun aluminum bottle made to carry camp stove fuel in a...

Maximum Wattage Output?

If I remember correctly the 120w is for the light circuit by itself. 12v times 10 amps = 120 watts. I think the light circuit is fused at 10 amps so this limit makes sense. If your aux lights are...
