Actually I did use the calculator method in figuring gas mileage. Some fill ups I got as much as 53 mpg, some fill ups as low as 42 mpg....just depended on the terrain and my right hand :tup:

They changed the fuel tank trim panel on the 2013 Vaquero's. It's now a smooth matt black finish. Way better.....

The new 2013 Kawasaki's are online at Kawasaki's website. Other than black as the main color, there's not a lot of choices through out the entire line. Perhaps they need to sit down and have a talk...

No adjustment to the Grasshopper backrest. It's a simple insert in the slot, and there ya go! You could put the backrest sleeve in a vise and bend it a bit to get some minor adjustment I suppose.

I do have the gel seat. Since I added the drivers backrest, I find the seat quite comfortable for day long rides. Some riders don't like the gel seat, but I find it works perfect for me.
