What's the Velcro Strap for Behind Left Side Cover

I see it in the manual, but it's not identified. There's nothing the strap holds in my 2008 Nomad.

I believe they put that there to hold a rain suit, or any other small item you could roll up and fit in there...read that somewhere, but may be wrong.

Either way, you're not missing any items from the bike. We all have that empty strap. Tool kit has it's own compartment, just under it.

I use mine to help hold tools in. No tool kit here.

There's only something there if you live in California, it hold's part of the emissions equipment

Or Arizona, where they seem to sell only CA bikes. Yes, it's used to secure the charcoal canister for emissions purposes on CA bikes.

It's the main engine mount. Holds the engine in the frame. Whatever you do...don't loosen it! ;) :)

I have the charcoal canister I took off my bike so I could mount the cruise control servo unit in there. Want one?

Hell, I got my bike in Ohio and there's a freakin' canister in there ~~~~ does that mean I have the dreaded Cali model ~~~~~ now what do I do???? Does that mean I have to run lead free gas or something?????? Now what, it won't explode will it???????? ???

My Utah bike is also a California model. I think 50% of the bikes Kawi makes are California bikes.
