Best prices on OEM replacement parts?

Anyone out there know of a place(s) with the best prices for OEM replacement parts for my Nomad? I need a side cover in ebony. took mine off and tore the little spikey things that plug in to help hold the thing in place :-[

Thanks for any recommendations,

Why don't you try to glue it back on with epoxy or JB Weld, I think there is a repair about that mentioned on Gadgets sight.

Best prices on OEM replacement parts?

I ordered a couple things here, they had the best pricing I could find (shipped to Canada anyway).

Daryl,

I'm assuming it's the right side cover, because the left side has holes that fit over little spikey things on the inner cover.

Check cheapcycleparts.com or bikebandit.com.

If you are a member of American Motorcyclist Assoc. you get a 10% discount at BikeBandit.com and they have the cheapest shipping I have found.

Best prices on OEM replacement parts?

I just ordered a couple of oem frame parts from Cycle Parts Nation. Checked the exact items against a couple of other places and found them substantially cheaper.

I replaced my side covers with chrome ones. I still have the black ones if you are interested. After you get a price on replacements, make me an offer and they will become yours..

Best prices on OEM replacement parts?

Hey, thanks EVERYONE for the tips and leads. Cactus, it's the left side afterall; I misspoke initially. My bad! Anyway, dkdixie sent me a message with a possible remedy. And that is... to drill out where the little "spikey" thing WAS and run a nut/bolt thru it. He did it over a year ago when he encountered the same problem and it's still working fine.

If all else fails, I'll contact CyclePartsNation, per hms' recommendation.

Thanks once again to all for your input, reply's and suggestions. I really appreciate it!

Ride Safely,
Daryl

Best prices on OEM replacement parts?

Daryl: I did the exact same thing a year or so ago. I used velcro and it held up good. but then VulcanE tipped me to ebay where i found a bike parting out and got the part for $10. What you need is called the tool box NOT the side cover. the spikey things are part of the tool box. 4 bolts hold it on and simple to change out unless you have a bunch of wires in that side cover like i did. I think the 1500-1600 tool box will fir if Im not mistaken. Good Luck on ebay, that tool box from the vendors is like $65.
