Officially Spring!

Now that it is officially spring....I can start thinking about new mods again! That was a tough couple of weeks since my declaration of no new winter mods...

!

I will have to start lookin' around again. That wireless tire pressure monitor looked kinda cool....and I guess an intercom system to talk to the wife might be nice. I can even begin working on that custom baffle mod that VulcanE sent me... ;)! Hhhmmm....so many mods...decisions, decisions....

!

Looking forward to a great riding season...Custer will be here before we know it!

Yes, I am very thankful spring is here. It's been a very long winter. It might not be over yet, as a storm is supposed to roll in tomorrow night. Depending on the temp when it hits, they are predicting 1-2 inches of rain, or 10-12 inches of snow. So much of our snow has melted, it would break my heart to get another foot of it now!
I am excited about new spring mods too. I will need new tires early this riding season, and I'm interested in Avon tires after reading the recent posts. I also would like a backrest, so I'm looking at a few options there as well.

it was 78 degrees here in wyoming today and the forecast for
monday is for up to 18 inches of snow.spring in the rockies !

landman, that must be the same storm system that is threatening to dump on us on Monday. I REALLY hope it misses us!

no doubt it is prairie cruiser.latest report is for a blizard warning
from 6am monday to 6 am tuesday,up to 20 inches of snow with
wind to 55 m.p.h.

Yep, that's the same one, as the warning is the same here, except it expires Tuesday evening. Man, I hope it misses us. We have lost a lot of snow over the past week, and I can actually see the concrete on my driveway, and it's dry!

You have got to be kidding me. Two winter storms in a week after having nothing all winter long. Monday and Tuesday we had rain, snow and wind. Now we are in a winter storm warning for Thursday and Friday with up to 10 inches forecast and 40 mph winds. Spring, yeah????
