Need a battery!!!!!!!

After being 5 this month, I figure I may need a new battery. Went to the dealer to get a battery, he was out but gave me the price, $278.00. Got to be a cheaper replacement that will last a while, any suggestions????

Need a battery!!!!!!!

I may be due for a battery myself, Im still on the original one after 7 years, but its on a charger as we speak. A few members have used Battery USA and had received good prices. The shipping to Canada would kill me, so I'll have to find one locally.

Flash. You should be able to get an OEM one for under $100.

You can check out Yuasa batteries as well, but like mentioned earlier, they should be in the $100.00 range.

Here is a link to a Yuasa for $93. I believe YUASA is the OEM one and considered the best for our bikes. This part is for a 2003-1500.

Never go to a dealer for a battery, unless you have a money tree.

By the way, I got almost 7 years out of my last battery. How cool is that?

I found mine two weeks ago at batterymart.com 18AH Yuasa for $79 plus $9 shipping. My local dealer quoted $179.00. The original was from 8 years old.

Need a battery!!!!!!!

Just replaced my battery as well. I got the Yuasa YTX20CH-BS (18 AH).
I followed advise from Gadget: http://www.gadgetjq.com/batrepl.htm
Of interest here is, my local dealership says the 14AH Yuasa #YTX16-BS is the exact match for my 2006 Nomad. As The 14AH is for carb models, I followed gadgets advise for FI bikes, that being the 18 AH Yuasa # YTX20CH-BS.
As an added note, the price for the 14AH battery was $240.00 and it wasnt in stock. The Yuasa 18 AH was in stock and I paid $147.95 (CAN)

Need a battery!!!!!!!

purchased battery from batterymart.com, 12v 18 Ah, $95 incluses S/H, http://www.batterymart.com/p-YTX20CH...e-Battery.html

Order to door in Florida in 5 days

Installed in 30 minutes...lotsa wires under there...triple whammy is only other electrical experience I have in that hidden area of wires....took most of that time to figure out those STUPID electrical connectors...battery fit was perfect....connected everything back, she fired right up...now only time will tell ....

btw - battery brand is Motocros? Seen somewhere that this is Yuasa manufactured.
