Ordered mine today with ram mount. Everything I read on this was very positive. Prices continue to drop.

Just curious, did that price include the mounting hardware for the motorcycle?
The reason I ask is the discount section on the Garmin site for AMA members shows list price for this unit as $299.99 and the AMA member price as $254.99. This dose not include a bike mount.
I want to get the Zumo 660 when it comes out this spring. That unit has a retail price of $799.99 and members of AMA can get it for $639.99 and that price includes a Ram motorcycle mount.

It seems that they have dropped quite a bit, I remember when $550.00 was as good a price as you could find.

It shows $268 for me. Thats including shipping.

Figured out the discrepancy in the prices folks are getting:

The Nuvi 550 is $259.95
The Zumo 550 is $651.95

Shipping and handling is $12.20

they wired it to battery and the Garmin harness has a fuse in it. One day later it blew fuse. Fuse replaced it still would not work. I think they bent the plug-in to Garmin. They are placing it and I asked them to wire it to headlight bucket. The unit is great. Rode 274 miles today in mountains and it got me out of a few wrong turns done on purpose.
