Daytona

I apologize if this has already been addressed, but, is anyone from this forum going to Bike Week next week. We are riding down March 4th. Plan on being in Daytona the 5th, 6th and 7th. I decided to stay in St. Augustine to cut down on expenses so I won't see much of the night life.

If you go to the SE regional board, we have a thread there about it and there is one on the Trip Report board. I will be there March 6th.

Are there parts of Daytona or Ormond Beach you really need to avoid? Don't want to be in the wrong part of town.

A1-A down in Daytona is going to be very busy and Main St. at night in Daytona is, shall we say, a tad on the risque side. Good for people watching for sure but you will see lots of interesting sights ;) Out by the speedway it is a lot more tame and in other areas. Of course the local biker bars are going to have all kids of contests going on.
