I have an '07 Nomad and after about 1000 miles on the OEM seat, it became clear to me that I had to buy a better aftermarket seat. I bought the Mustang two-piece studded seat with rider backrest (see picture below), and I couldn't be happier. I found the best price I could online, then called Dennis Kirk and asked them to "beat it by a buck". They did and I can ride for hours and hours without much discomfort. It's a very good investment. I hope this helps you in your decision and Merry Christmas.

How are those prices or deals mentioned better then what you can find off of ebay? I still cannot find what I want for less then $600.00.

There's a guy on E-bay who goes by VirginiaTrader 125. He has "by now" for $559.
I bought one for my classic and I loved it. It's for sale, by the way. I need a new one for my 2007 Nomad. He was easy to do business with and everything went very smooth. Check it out on E-bay. Here's his #540-362-9790

If you get one, go for the driver back rest. Wish I did. Other than that, love mine, just lean against the wife.

Hey towering, I was wondering if there was anyone ,except me ,who bought a Mustang and didn't see any improvement over stock.
I bought one for my 650 Yamaha and rode for a month and sold it on ebay for a $100 loss. Didn't like it.
That is just my opinion, there are a lot of folks on these threads that swear by them ???

Is that with or without shipping? A lot of people low ball and make it up in shipping that doesn't cost as much as they say. It might be 559, but costs 40 in shipping.

I have gotten one for the 800 Classic I had and it was better than the stock seat on the 800, but no better than the stock nomad. I know a guy that rides a Nomad that is big guy and he swears by the Corbin. Mustangs don't seem to do the trick for us larger folk.

Like I said, it isn't a cure all for some. If you are big, with a small posterior, it doesn't help. I am 6'5 and 350 with what my wife describes as a no butt. Even with the Nomad I sink in and my tail bone hurts after 45 minutes and I have to shift my weight every 15 minutes after that. I wish I could try a seat out before buying one.
