A "De"Baffling question?

If I de-baffle my new Nomad when I get it, will I have to make any changes or modifications to the bike and will it have any effect on the factory warranty? Thanks in advance for any replies.

You will not, typically, have to modify anything else if you debaffle only. It will affect the factory warranty only if you have a problem that can be traced to the mod itself.

A "De"Baffling question?

I have not heard of anyone having to do any other 'mods' in relation to a debaffling job. I didn't on mine, anyways.

As Taranis indicated, it should have no effect on your warranty, either. I asked my dealer repeatedly about this issue, and he insisted it was OK. I know some dealers will tell you whatever you want to hear to make the sale; this guy seems like a straight -shooter. So get out the drill and hole-saw!!!

Jamie,
I'm not sure about the warranty, but as someone who has debaffled, I know that you will not be disappointed. It is so easy and inexpensive.

A "De"Baffling question?

Just make sure you use ONLY a 1-3/4" hole saw and insert a 1-1/8" wooden dowel into the exhaust opening to center the drill. Squirt a little oil on the saw as you go for lubrication and cooling, and you're good.

A "De"Baffling question?

Any volunteers (willing to work for beer) at the National Rally what would do some debaffling?

Hell I bet we can fit the tools and a generator in Scott's trailer and do it where ever we want.

A "De"Baffling question?

No other mods with my debaffle....I spoke to Ma Kaw about warranty issues. He stated that if a problem would be traced to the modification, I would have to go back stock before they would pay for the troubleshooting or problem.

A "De"Baffling question?

For the life of me, I can't see how one of those service bozos could determine that the bafflectomy caused an issue. I'd like to see them offer tangible proof...!

A "De"Baffling question?

I need to warn you before you make this irreversible step. This is a cheap and inexpensive procedure and you're thinking "What the hey". I'll tell you what the hey! It's no longer just a nice looking bike anymore! After you take this innocent D-baffeling step you become a part of the Nomad and the Nomad a pat of you. From that time on when your not riding you'll feel like you're missing something between your legs. And I must further warn you very few just stop at the D-baffle. It leads to the Cadddddmannnn kitttt, then the pricey TFI and on to the crooz control and garage doe opener. Once you get "IN" the Nomad there's NO getting out.

I'm a BIG TIME Soprano fan. I gotta see the HBO version. I crave the missing foul language like a glass of red wine with a Porterhouse Steak. It's something left over from my childhood years when my parents used it to talk to me. My beloved mother had a mouth like a backed up septic tank in Florida in July . She could spew a stream of venom that would leave scorch marks on you ears "So what ate you gonna do?"
