brake shoes

Is the 1600 nad, rear brake shoes, organic or metallic, and what the best brand, besides personal preference. I don't have a personal preference, because I don't know any thing about them. I'm rough on rear shoes. Thanks

EBC seems to take the most votes on a previous thread. None seem to wear as good as the first stock pair.

I have heard none are better than the stock OEM pads. I read that the EBC are noisy and do not last long. At $82 (Canadian) for the OEM rear pads they had better be good !
