What to do, What to do?, Hey Mike in Nashville

There I am patroling downtown looking for violators of the law. Oh my...what do I see but a "Blondie" parked in an unapproved parking space. Do I stay loyal to all my friends on KawaNow and NOT ticket and tow a members Nad. Or do I stand up to friendship and enforce the LAW!... Naw... I left it alone, but the temptation to ticket and tow almost got the better of me.. :-*

Hey Mike what is that do-dad on your headlight, if its a rudder, it belongs on the back not the front of the bike!!!

Hahaha. I wasn't breaking the law, was I? I hadn't been there two hours, had I? And I had to pay the store owner to look after it for me (j/k).

I'm surprised you didn't give me a ticket for it being filthy dirty. It might not be too cold to ride, but it sure is too cold to wash!!!!

Thanks for not towing, I sure wouldn't want to walk home tonight. It'll be cold enough on the bike. ;)

Well that was awfully kind of you skeet. I just wish the "violator" in question could know the kind gesture so that they could pass it on.

I think they are aware of the gesture and appreciated it.

Hmmmm, well, me, a good looking blonde in a nice uniform, and a few cold ones.... Nah, don't think my wife would go for that reward (dangit). ;)

I will say my offer to go get Skeet's new bike and ride it back to Nashville for her still stands though!!!! She just has to find one and let me know.

I'm not 100% sure what it is. lol I didn't put it there, it was already there when I bought it. I guess it is supposed to "split the wind".

Actually, I thought it must be stock and came on all the bikes. You mean, it isn't stock? You mean my blondie is even MORE SPECIAL than I thought? haha

I wish the cop that pulled my wife over last week and gave her a speeding ticket ( I was the passenger in her car) was a Kawanow member :)

That was a cool Kawanow member almost meetup story.

Actually, I think the funniest part about it comes from the store owner. He likes to look after my bike. I never asked him to, he's just a nice guy. But I don't think he knew what to think about skeet, meeting on the "internet", etc. lol

He wanted to know if I was going to sell her the bike. I said, no, he said, oh you just want the girl. lol I said, no, I just don't want a ticket or to be towed. haha

He kept saying she told him something about being blind (he's indian), I said what, he said she was blind, I said blonde? He said, maybe that was what she was saying. I think she was saying "blondie". ;)

Skeet really had him going...

I should have put a ticket on it and just wrote "Gotcha" on it... Taking a cold one for not ticketing and towing....that would be considered a bribe!! Can't do that, I've only got 7 months until retirement.

Mike, that bike deserves a bath. Its going to be back up to 70 in a few days, time to get ole "Blondie" clean. She'll love you more for it.

Well, that means two things. You've got 7 months to actually "catch me" downtown, and also only 7 months to GET THAT NEW NOMAD! ;)
