Good luck with the surgery, it may not be fun for a while but the results are great with the new advancements. My neighbor had knee replacement and was able to drive a car and walk a little after a couple of weeks.

I have heard amazing results with knee replacements. They are much more common than just a few years ago. Good luck + have a quick recovery.

My grandmother had both her knees replaced a few years ago. That surgery made a huge difference in her quality of life, as she gained back so much mobility. Good luck to you, and you're being thought of.

Prayers for a successful surgery and complete recovery.

Remember, we expect a full write-up on this Mod posted in the Garage section. . .

"Two docs will do them"

I deal with our ortho docs all the time here at our hospital. Knee, hip and shoulder surgery has become a walk in the park, Donoller......Many procedures can now be done with robotic surgery which is what we do. Less pain, less rehab and quicker trip home.

Good luck and let us know how things go.

Good luck, my mom had both done and she's in her 80's and she still dances and does stairs better than me. She would tell you, "you'll be glad you did".

Make sure you get the extended warranty and the maintenance plan. You don't want to have to worry about repair costs when you hit 60,000 miles. Prayers to you.

Good luck with the surgery. Hope all goes well.
My Mom had ONE done at 80 years old. She did great.
I don't like the idea of both at the same time. My buddy from work had BOTH done and didn't follow the Dr,s instructions to take it easy. When he started feeling better he started putting weight on them. It has been over two years and he still has pain both knees when he walks.
When you have one done you can use crutches and put weight on the other. Not so when BOTH are done at the same time.
Sooooooooo, [color=yellow:fau04gud]make sure you follow the Dr's orders [/color:fau04gud]and if you are the type who can't, only get one done at a time.

Prayers sent your way. Sounds like a good excuse to shack up for the winter and heal so you will be good to go next spring.
