Running lights for back of Bike
The front turn signals also act as a running light. The back turn signals are just that, turn signals! They do not act as a running light.
What can be done to make the back turn signals as a dual light system and also use as a running light? Or would it be better to add the marker lights, or a pair of bullet lights to the bags? Is there a light bar to add to the back? Any suggestions to add more light to the back end? Thanks, Login or Register to Remove Ads |

It would be easy enough to do, but the rear turn signals have only single-filament sockets. If you could replace them with dual filament, just connect the second filament on each bulb to the taillight circuit and you're good.

Check this out. It will turn them into running, turn and brake lights.
http://www.electricalconnection.com/...star&sport.htm P.S. Running lights on the rear must be red. Amber running lights on the rear will get citations most everywhere.

Running lights for back of Bike
Here's something I found this week that is entirely different that I want to try...my problem is finding the right light and stuff.

I added the Kuryakyn Triple Whammy. Got at JP Cycles. Really simple to install and I like the look.

I have to agree with John R. The Kuryakyn Triple Whammy Run-Turn-Brake controller is the way to go. It literally takes 5 minutes to install and is truely plug and play. It took longer to change the amber lens' to red (which are included, btw) than it did to plug the module in to the light harness under the seat. Just becasue I'm anal and like things to match, I bought a pair of Kuryakyn amber deep dish bezels for the front. I'm very pleased with the look and, more importantly, the function.

I put the "electrical connection" setup on my 1600 and they work great! I'm not very good with electrical stuff, but the instructions were good and they give you everything you need to hook 'em up.

Bought the Electrical Connection unit but never installed it. Just put it up for sale over on the For Sale forum.
