Side bag liners + Classic guard chaps

Did my first overnighter on my Nad. I was not sure what kind of weather to pack for so I prepared for everything.

I just received the engine guard chaps from Classic Chaps before we left. I threw them on in about 60 seconds. Trip and others were right....they make a big difference in reducing buffeting and what a difference in the cool morning...kept the toes/legs warm. The great thing is if it gets too warm it is not a big deal to take them off and throw them in the bags.

Man, those $40 dollar pair of bag liners are amazing. While my buddies on their Harley, Stratoliner, St1300 had their hands full bringing their junk in to the hotel I could see the envy when I just grabbed my 2 bags and had everything I needed. Sure made it easy for packing . Rather than taking everything out to the bike just loaded the bags in the house. My buddy with the Stratoliner had a tea bag packed for just himself in addition to fully loaded bags.... of course I gave him the obligatory "I didn't realize you were bringing the wife too!" .

You don't realize how much you can get in our bags until you do it. The bag liners allow you take take full advantage of all the cubic
space in the bag...without everything falling out.

Cool, do you have a link to the saddlebag liners? I'd like to pick up a set.

Mike,

Here is the link for the bag liners. It looks like they have more choices (Color, material) than when I ordered. I just got the black $39.95 (per pair). Good stuff.

The link for the engine guard chaps in on the KawaNOw site..they are a KawaNOw vendor.

Thanks. Looks like you can not unzip them while they are zipped at the top (I mean to use them other than when travelling).

Mike,

I am not sure what you meant about the unzipping but I do use them for a gym bag to take in + out of the gym.

If you meant to access them while they are in the hard bag....here is what I do. I just leave them unzipped at the top so I can reach in to get something out. The zippers are at the top of the bag.

But normally I just leave them empty and rolled up in the hard bag unless I am using them. Hope that answered your question.

Your right....for 40.00, great value.
Or you buy the KAW bags for 200.00!

I like mine ..... my buddy, on his "older" Voyager was a little envious I think, when we were on our trip this summer, down south. Like the Harley guy above, he had his stuff loaded in his arms or in plastic garbage bags.

++++++++1 on these bags! And they are water proof too! Both my bags leak and the stuff inside the bags are always dry! Dealer replaced one lid but it still leaks!

Have had a set for the Nad for several years. Good stuff, Sherman. Just noticed that they got 'em for my Big Nomad too. Sweet.
