Thats what I figured also, and its not cheap either. I heard its about $100.00 per tire to have installed. I can put in a lot of plugs for that money.

No more flat tires Rhino Tire
In 5 years I've had one flat. It took me 10 minutes to plug the tire, and I was on my way.
I knew the tire was damaged, and I replaced it within a reasonable time. Until it was replaced, I did NOT try to ride 100 MPH on it or anything stupid like that. If you install this Rhino stuff, and then go ride over a bed of nails like the demo, your tire won't leak. But is it damaged? you bet! Those nails have cut some cords for sure. The holes are plugged with goo, but the rubber still has holes in it! The tire is damaged, but because it doesn't go flat you won't know, and you'll still be out there riding 100 MPH on it. Somehow, I don't think that is such a good idea. Now on a forklift or a 90cc trail bike, sure I'd do it. But on a 800 lb. freeway blaster like the Nomad? Eeeeeeh.... No thanks. |

No more flat tires Rhino Tire
Ringadingh Interesting idea. Initially I was pretty excited about it but I would agree with Cadd...not something I would use (after puncture) on a freeway bound bike..especially at those prices! Expensive!!! A temp fix to limp home is all I need before I replace the tire. Plugs on a car are fine for rear tires as well. Thanks for keeping us informed of these ideas.

Plus with that Rhino goop in there you can't use the Dynabeads for balancing the tire! :(
