Accessory plug - any connectors?

I took a look in the headlight bucket for the first time today, and saw the accessory plugs. I'd like to wire my GPS to here (by putting in a "powerlet" outlet, then wire my GPS with a powerlet plug for a cleaner disconnect when I'm not using the GPS). The accessory plugs look similar to the ones I had in my Concours. I never could find a connector that plugged right into them, instead, I usually had to find something and sort of jam it in so it would stay. Does anyone here know of a connector that would work?

And since I'm on the subject of taking the headlight housing off, I have to say... NICE!! With the Concours I had to snake my arm in to get to the headlight, was always a pain.

I don't personally know of any source for proper connectors, so i solder old spark plug tops to wire, and they fit ok. In the past I have rolled the fitting smaller as well and use large bullet connectors..

Why are you removing the lamp bucket? it is easy to just pass wire through the opening in the back, and feed it up through the slots the other wires pass though. I did that when I mounted a ciggy butt socket to my wind shield. I run a voltmeter in it.

Heres a pic:

macmac, I don't think he is taking the whole bucket off. I believe he is talking about removing the head light ring.

Yeah, that's it. I'm still a newcomer to this fancy dancy Nomad and don't know all the terminology yet.

And that's what I plan on doing, passing the wires through, and up the opening. Right now I'm thinking of this from Whitehorse press: http://www.whitehorsepress.com/produ...oducts_id=4402 I would have preferred one with a cover on it, but the all seem to require being fitted in a hole somewhere. I'm sure I can jury-rig some type of cover for this.
