search for GPS

I want to search the KawaNOW forums for GPS topics but the search engine requires four characters.

Therefore does anyone have a bike mounted GPS that they like?

I have a Garmin 2610 that I am very happy with it is water tight and vibration doesn't hurt it. But they don't make them anymore

Garmin Zumo 550, big screen and the bluetooth works with my com gear...great in the car also!

Wife drives a convertible (her toy) so the glare sometimes is bad on the screen. Got a shade from Glare Stomper and the screen is visible even on very bright days.

I have the Garmin 450 and have been very happy with it for the past two years. It is a pain to plan routes with their mapping software and upload them to the GPS, but with time I am getting better at it. It is great for when you are riding in unfamiliar areas and are not quite sure where you are going. I will not leave home without it whenever I go on a long ride.

I just picked up a Garmin Nuvi 750 from Sam's Club for $299. That's a SMOKIN deal.

Got the Zumo 450 which runs as my MP3 player as well. Comes on a Ram Mount and is waterproof and locked down

I've had the Garmin Zumo 450 for almost a year now and it does great. As mikesth said, it also has mp3 function too. Mine ran about $450, but doesn't come with a car mount or DC adapter cord. That will run about another $100 for those. So far, it's been a great gps.
