Very Basic Question on Wiring Driving Lights

I have a very basic question - the led driving lights I bought have one red wire coming out of the housing (the black wire is grounded inside the headlight itself). However, many of the wiring harness kits I see have two sets of two wires - one red and one black for each light. Do I just connect the red wire coming out of each driving light to the red wire of the harness and leave the black wire alone, or is there something I need to do with that black wire? As you can see, I know less than nothing about wiring, so any education you can provide would be much appreciated! Thanks

Since the lights are up front, you want to ground thru a wire that feed back to the frame on the battery side of the steering bearings. You don't want to ground thru the bearings, it can eat them away.
So as long as the black in the wiring harness is ground use it.
Hope that helps.

Troy is correct. The lights are setup to be grounded by bolting them to the frame.
Not ideal. Run a ground wire from the lights to a ground wire on the bike.
