Finally!.... a vista cruise

So I finally got around to buying and installing a vista cruise last night. What a dumba$$ i am for waiting 5500 miles to do that.
I had forgotten how great it was to relax the right hand and just chill. I had a nice 4 hour ride out on I 64 Richmond- Waynesboro and back. Great day. light traffic and a high sun.

A friend gave me one but it seems a part is missing... it has an arm protruding out but I don't see where it goes. Maybe I should put a pic or two and see if anyone can help me figure it out.

Or spend $35 and get a new one. Well worth the cost.

Are they universal? One size fits all?

They are pretty much "universal", it comes with a set of rubber washers/grips that you choose the size that will work with your grips. I went with a "Shindler flip-a-lever" about 3 years ago. I don't think they make them anymore, but it is a great, simple product.

Make sure you order the 1" model. They also come in 7/8" which won't fit. Don't ask me how I know. ::)

Yep, Schneider just kind of disappeared. Too bad, I really wanted a flip-a-lever.

I ordered a flip-a-lever about 2 months ago. It was around $50.00. Easy to use, l like it.
