My new ride to me
Some of you might have already heard about this but on September 26 2019 I was in Eureka Springs Arkansas for the Bikes, Barbecue and Blues Festival with some friends. That evening I decided to ride down alone to Beaver Dam to capture some sunset pictures. When I was done, I started to head back and along the way a couple Does run across the road. When I turned to see if there were more, an 8 point buck was ready jump by me but I ended up hitting him, killing him and me laying on the ground with only a broken left collarbone. When I looked up the bike was pointing looking at me and my first thought was," Thank you God for allowing me to breath again "
With the help of my friends I was able to get back home a few days later. My blue beautiful Nomad that I had customized to fit me and my wife for long trips in the USA and Canada, even though not damaged bad, it was totalled because of all the little repairs that needed to be done and would cost more than what the bike was worth. Fast forward 7 months, almost a month before my Birthday and we have a beauti of a bike I bought from a dear friend of mine. Happy early birthday present to me! Looking forward to seeing more of the US and Canada on it!
