*Regional Leader/ARL Nominations - OLD

75% of you wanted the KawaNOW regions in the USA to be split into 6 regions with 6 riding groups.

This means we need to vote on 6 Region Leaders (or RL's). Please leave a post here and let me know if you are interested in becoming a leader for your region. If you would like to be considered for Assistant Regional Leader (or ARL) feel free to leave a post in this thread and I will add you to the nomination list.

Nominations for RL and ARL will last until Saturday, July 12th.
Elections for the RL's will take place between Sunday, July 13 and Friday, July 18th.
ARL's will be decided upon by the KawaNOW staff

Here are the responsibilties and duties of an RL:

a. This person would be the admin over the riding group of his/her region
b. This person would coordinate all rally's in his/her region
c. This person would help facilitate any rides in his/her region and would help promote KawaNOW in his/her region
d. This person will have access to the Regional Board that will be created so that all Regional Leaders and the KawaNOW staff can communicate confidentially.
e. This person must own and operate a Nomad and hold a KawaNOW member number.
f. This person cannot be a KawaNOW staff member

Here are the responsibilties and duties of an ARL:

a. This person will help the RL in any way possible for his/her region
b. This person would help coordinate all rally's in his/her region
c. This person would help facilitate any rides in his/her region and would help promote KawaNOW in his/her region
d. This person must own and operate a Nomad and hold a KawaNOW member number.
e. This person cannot be a KawaNOW staff member
f. In the event the RL cannot fulfill their duties, the ARL will assume the RL position.

If you are interested in possibly becoming a Regional Leader or Assistant Regional Leader, let me know with a post in this thread and I will add you to the nomination list. You have until Saturday, July 12th at 6pm, CDT to get your nominations in.

On Sunday, July 13, I will make a thread for each region to vote in. You will not vote by a poll, but rather by leaving a post in your regional thread and letting it be known who you vote for. That way, members in other regions won't be able to vote outside their region. The final RL voting will commence July 13th and last until Friday, July 18th at 6pm, CDT. In case of a tie, the final decision will be up to the KawaNOW staff.

If only one person is left on the list in a given region, then there will be no voting in that region. The sole person on the list will be made the RL.

During the voting time by the members, a list of ARL's will be given to the KawaNOW staff and they will decide who will be the ARL for each region.

The role of Region Leader will last for one year. Each July, we will hold elections for a new RL and ARL.
