Let me ask a question, that I'm sure is already covered somewhere... but, remember, I'm new here....I had a roadstar before the nomad, and my cycle jack worked perfectly on it.... but, with the nomad, I have to put one of the jack arms on the two tabs that stick down underneath, and raise it, which raises the rear tire only, because the engine housing hangs down below the frame.......so, I know you'all have answers......what are they... ronnie

Hi Ron, go over to the vendors/for sale section, and look for "Idaho's jack adapter". It works great!!!!!!!!

I've been using my jack without any adaptor for 5 years, and for 5 years I've been nervous about the procedure. That all went away when I bought the Idaho Jack Adaptor. I can always balance the bike just the way I want it, and it's much more stable than before. There are other jack mods you can do, but this is by far the easiest.

Word of caution about the jack adapter....MAKE SURE YOU TAKE IT OFF WHEN YOU ARE DONE! I rode about 8 miles with mine on the bike and almost got back on it today for a 120 mile ride...looked at my bike, thought, hmmm...what is that white thing on bottom of the bike? THE JACK ADAPTER! Needless to say, if secured properly it will stay put.

So it mounts onto the bike?

There are two tabs that you put a pin through (nail in my case) that attach to the bottom of your frame. You take a piece of wire and attach the front of the adapter to the front of your frame.

I am going to get some kind of string or strap to attach to the adapter and up to the handlebars so I don't forget anymore.

Here's some pics I took of Idaho's jack adapter used on a bike stand I had from a previous bike.

The jack adapter is the green piece in the pics.

You just have to PM the member named Idaho.

As far as I know, he only sells these through this forum.
