Installing a Baron's Mini tach on a 1600 Nomad with batwing...

Hey this may help some of you who are contemplating installing one of Barons mini tach's on their Nomad and it won't fit in the traditional (between the risers) location due to the installation of a batwing fairing.
Also I like my clock mounted between the risers as it is a perfect fit.

Baron's USED to make a master cylinder tach mount that replaced your original brake or clutch cylinder cover to mount the tach to...But it has been discontinued.

So I found out that if you Invert the tach and mount it to the handlebar just to the right of the clutch fluid cylinder it fits beautifully. (you just have to rotate the tach face as described in the instructions)

Pics attached, hope this helps someone with this same setup looking for a good place to mount their tach.

And there are NO clearance issues when the bars are turned "Lock to Lock"
